Searching for homes can be exciting and eyeopening, but it can also be a frustrating and long process.  Once you know how much you can get pre approved for you will want to start seeing how far your money will go.

 

Meeting with your Real Estate Agent to go over what you're looking for is a great idea. Give them an idea of how many bedrooms you want, how many bathrooms, square footage and anything else that may be important to you. The DYAR agent will have access to the MLS, which is an exclusive database of listings. The MLS will have the most accurate data, and the agent will be able to search your criteria to find listings that match.

In addition to your agent searching the MLS. You can search online on websites such as Zillow.com or Realtor.com, but remember if you find a property that interests you send the address to your agent. They will be able to get you info, show you the house, and represent you ALL FOR FREE, in most cases.
