Closing is the meeting where the seller will sign the house over to you. In normal situations the seller, seller's agent, buyer, buyer's agent, lender will all be in attendance. The paperwork will be taken care of by the closer from the title company. Closings can take on average 45-90 minutes to complete. You will need to bring a valid drivers license and anything else your agent or loan officer tells you. If you have to bring funds to closing for your down payment or closing cost keep in mind anything over $10,000 must be wired to the title company. Anything less will need to be in a form of a cashiers check made out to the title company.
